Born in 1964, Don grew up on the plains of North Dakota. At an early age, he began experiencing spontaneous premonitions of future events which were, at first, disturbing to him. Later in life, after developing his intuitive abilities, Don would find his sensitivity and capacity to read energy to be one of his greatest gifts. After going through a troubled childhood involving many challenges, at the age of 16, he had a spiritual awakening which dramatically altered the course of his life. During this life transforming experience, Don was given the vision that his life purpose was to help others free themselves by sharing his gifts with them.

Don first learned about the I Ching in 1995 after facing difficult challenges in relationship. From his initial consultation with the I Ching, he came to see how the guidance it offered was clear, direct, and deep. Don realized the value of I Ching to bring to light the deeper truth of complex situations and also the practical help it offered those who sincerely sought its guidance. Since then, he has continued his studies with the I Ching and incorporated its use in his personal and professional life. Currently Don studies with Carol K. Anthony and Hanna Moog, authors of I Ching; Oracle of the Cosmic Way, at the I Ching Institute in Stow, Massachusetts.

Don is also a professionally trained, licensed psychotherapist with over 18 years experience working with individuals, couples and groups. In addition to his traditional education and training in psychology, he has spent his life exploring eastern philosophy, Native American spirituality, mystical teachings and the intuitive arts. Together Don weaves his traditional training with his non-traditional studies and brings forth a dynamic and practical approach to coaching that assists others in gaining clarity to take the next right step in their lives with confidence.

"How do I get to where I am going", the seeker asked the old sage sitting on the side of the road. "One step at a time", replied the Sage. "And not one step sooner".
